Morrama confirms the new board appointment
Morrama is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Bye to its Board of Non-Exec Directors. Rob brings deep industry experience, a strong digital community lens, and an educational network that fits with Morrama’s ambitions for the next decade of growth.
Rob is a Product Manager at Anthropic and previously held roles at Figma, Google Creative Lab and AllTrails. His background spans product strategy, community development, design research and emerging technology. This experience means he will play a significant role in strengthening Morrama’s digital and educational initiatives and shaping how we integrate new tools and technologies into our work.
Fun fact: Jo and Rob actually started Morrama together before Rob left after about a year to pursue building his own startups and supporting some of the world’s biggest tech businesses. Ten years later, the timing feels right to bring that early partnership full circle.
Rob joins a Board that reflects the breadth of Morrama’s thinking and the values that define the studio:

This appointment comes as Morrama marks its tenth year with renewed focus on AI and tech alongside our experience in materials and sustainability innovation. Bringing Rob into the Board strengthens our ability to bridge physical and digital product thinking and supports our ambition to build tools, services and systems that have a meaningful and measurable impact.
