From People to Planet

Jo Barnard is the founder and director of Morrama. Passionate about the power of design to bring joy and make the world better, Jo has spent years exploring how we can, and must, create products more sustainably. In 2022 she co-instigated the not-for-profit Design Declares, calling on the entire design industry to declare a climate crisis and creating the 8 Acts of Emergency; eight ways designers can shift their practice to one that considers both people and planet.

This is Jo's first book, written with input from the wider Morrama team, sharing ten lessons on designing for a better world. In it Jo insists on advancing with intention: to stay agile, to collaborate closely, to love what you do, and to make only what might shift the dial.
