A refillable roll-on deodorant
Brief
Following on from the success of the Wild stick deodorant, the goal was to bring a plastic-free refill solution to the roll-on category.
Narrative
Wanting to make a 'no sweat' solution, the Wild roll-on is a beautifully simple, hassle-free design.
Outcome
The aluminium case houses a plastic-free compostable refill that simply twists in (no pouring required) and can be composted when empty.

While sprays still dominate, roll-ons account for over 26% of deodorant sales in the UK. Setting out to tap into this market, we approached it in the same way as the rest of the Wild range: aiming to create something simple, elegant and hassle free. And of course - refillable.
Working with Shellworks again to create a compostable refill capable of holding the liquid deodorant, the 50ml cartridge simply screws into the rollerball assembly, the case is clicked closed and the product is good to go.
The outer case is made from a combination of aluminium and 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and can be disassembled at end-of-life. The simple rounded edged silhouette fits nicely in the hand and echos the Wild aesthetic carried across the rest of the range.
