Designing travel accessories with the planet in mind
Brief
To design a utilitarian wash bag and travel wallet with a minimal aesthetic and use of recycled materials.
Narrative
The focus with all OneNine5 travel products is on the essential. Removing everything surplus and maximising what remains was key to the design.
Outcome
The outcome is a beautifully minimal pair of travel packing essentials, with recycled plastic lining and a vegan leather outer, the block colour aesthetic is timeless and practice.
Wash bag design
The wash bag features a removable and reusable airport security bag for carrying liquids, held magnetically in place so it is easy to reach while on the move or when hanging the wash bag. Inside there are 7 pockets available to use for carrying all of your travel essentials, from toothbrush to travel map.
The exterior is made from a durable PU leather with a matt finish and colour matched water-resistant zips. The interior lining is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and features a waterproof coating for easily removing stains and spills. All of the OneNine5 packaging is completely recyclable, from the protective biodegradable bag to the recycled paper band.

Essentials pouch
Following on from the success of the washbag, we spent the early part of 2020 working with OneNine5 on their newly released Essentials Pouch. A neatly considered versatile carry case for everything from makeup to tech accessories; it’s made from the same recycled lining and durable PU leather exterior.
