We are looking for a Junior Industrial Designer to join the Morrama team.
Being a designer at Morrama means joining a team passionate about putting out consistently awesome product design. You should have a constant drive to strive for perfection in your work, even when under pressure. At the same time, you are expected to push yourselves to grow and develop under the guidance of the team, and provide feedback and support in return; collaboration is key to our design process.

- Working on design projects alongside mid-weight and senior designers
- Presenting work to, and communicating directly with, clients
- Supporting key decision making on projects alongside senior team members
- Building your professional skill set and experience and exploring your craft and passion as a designer
- Be passionately involved in projects at each stage from research through to CAD and design for manufacture
- Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the team
- Respect others opinions and ideas, but have confidence in speaking out if you disagree, don’t understand or have any questions
- Be proactive with regards to managing your time and flag to management any periods where you feel you have too much or not enough to do, as early as possible
- Be thoughtful and considerate of the implication of each small detail on the overall beauty and user experience of your design work
- Understand the importance of sustainable design at Morrama; and develop your own understanding of how we can reduce the impact of the products we create
- Actively further your own professional development
- At least 1 years experience in the industry, ideally within a design agency
- Confidence in sketching, communicating and presenting ideas, and seeking feedback
- Confidence in asking questions and taking initiative with carrying out research and validating ideas
- Complete competence in Adobe CS
- Confidence in surface and solid CAD modelling (Solidworks/Rhino/Grasshopper) and rendering (Keyshot/Blender).
£28-32k per year starting salary depending on experience
